@zgfg
It sounds strange, but my battery really lasts longer since I turned off Cloud print, maybe there's really some bug.
@oki01
Settings/Personal/Google   Services/Search&Now   and here I disabled everything (I know it's not just Now, but I don'tuse Google search at all)

Ok, it"s easier to switch Cloud Print Off (and back On when needed) through Settings / Cloud Print. When put to Off it says that service is disabled, hence result must be the same as if Forced to Stop through Settings  / Applications.

Btw, turn Off also Location / Google Location History.

And put More / Cellular Networks / Preferred Type to 3G  or even 2G if you don't have 4G subscription, you have Mobile Data disabled or you just don"t need extra fast mobile Internet.

If phone is rooted, install Hibernation Manager to select which apps will be automaticaly disabled whenever screen goes Off. Eg, Cloud Service to be disabled when screen is locked, and automatically re-enabled when screen is unlocked - better than doing it manually.

Screenshot displays battery consumption over the three long idle experiments.
E.g., over the last period of 11 hours, battery dropped only 56-47=9%, or 0.82% per hour.

All three experiments were somewhat idealistic, phone was left still and idle, untouched, like during the night (midde section indeed captures the night time.
imilar consuptions were also during the two earlier long idle periods.

I"m still only experimeting with the phone, there were no calls and messages. Skype and WhatsApp installed but not used (experimental accounts I'm not using for real life).

Testing setup was:
1) Stock ROM with disabled alleged malwares Search Service and Opera Mobile Store
2) Google Play Services forced to update, as described earlier in this thread
3) Preferred type 3G and attached to 3G
4) Connected to good 2.4 GHz WiFi
5) Bluetooth Off
6) Location Device/GPS only
7) Cloud Print Off

8) Google Sync automatically disabled when screen turns off, by use of Hibernation Manager (requires Root).
It prevents Google History, Play Store, etc, to communicate when phone is idle.
Caveat: There are no GMail notifications while screen is off, but GMail automatically syncs and shows if there are new mails when I open the case (no need to unlock the creen).
This tweak does not affect Push Notifications for social media applications.

After a few restarts and clearing cache I was able to fix it.
